Wow, the official online home of Thaahum is finally here! Welcome to Keneteph.com! This site is long overdue, as many people through the years have been asking me if I have a website. Ask and you shall receive. I was supposed to have the section up by the 19th, but I got so caught up into promoting, that I've been putting it off. I sent my CDs to different magazines for review and different radio stations too. I will let y'all know where to check out reviews of me as they come. Shout out to the Green Light Council and the campaign they did "Tunes for Troops." Through them I donated about 150 of my CDs to the troops stationed in the Middle East. We support you, and please come home safely. Thanks for contacting me on that Vanessa. This site will be updated and maintained by myself. It took me about a week to get all this stuff up. I'll let you know when and where I will be performing, what stores to get my CD at, what magazines are talking about my music, and things like that. My column on midatlantichiphop.com, Keneteph's Korner, should be up any day now. It will discuss peoples' innovative contributions to hip hop, and hip hop's innovative contributions to the community. I'll let y'all know when to check that out too. I invite you all to take this journey along with me. Thank you for the love and support!!

Well folks, thanks to new Webmaster Dan Grove, Keneteph.com is back up and running! Keep checking back for updates and a newer look!
Since my last entry in like forever ago, a lot of good things have happened. Earlier this year I recorded a song, Snoogans Greetings, giving props to View Askew Productions. They put out Clerks 2, and the other movies featuring the characters "Jay and Silent Bob." Mattt Potter who makes most of the promo videos for V.A. made a promotional video to the song, and Kevin Smith liked it so much, he posted in on his website (ViewAskew.com). A lot of opportunities have rolled in since then that I will keep y'all posted on. I later did a song to help promote Clerks 2 which Mattt also cut a video to (Clerks2.com).
After recording my anthem for the big girls, "Addictied," I have been getting a lot of love from fans and DJs everywhere. In July I performed at the Ultimate BBW mansion party in Vegas, and had a blast. Thanks to DJ Zulu for booking me and makin' it all happen! According to the hommie DJ Super Mario, Addicted has been getting a lot of club play in L.A. too.
Last weekend, and this week Spreewells is listed as one of the "Hot Trax" on PulseNow.com. It's a great site that focuses strictly on promoting independent artists. Shout out to the Miss Erica Davis, one of their A&R reps for finding me and signing me up! Please take the time to register on the site (it's free), and vote for me on there. You can vote once a day, and the more votes I get, the better chance I have of the site sending my songs to labels.
I will be uploading new songs and videos shortly. Also check out the Google ads-you may find something you like. The keep this site going, and help me catch up on child support!!!
Speaking of that, a big shout out to the whole reason behind Keneteph Entertainment. Litte Kendall, Nekaybaw Marie and Tephareth Lenora! I am so proud of them, and can totally see them making a mark in Hollywood somehow. Nekaybaw is always singing and pretending she's a newscaster, or doing a commercial. Whenever I talk to my daughters we always sing some kids' song before I get off the phone with them. Well, yesterday when I was talking to Tephareth I asked,
"Do you want to sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star?"
She said "No!"
"What about Itsy, Bitsy Spider?"
Again she said "No!"
"ABC's?"
"No!"
"Spongebob?"
"NO!"
"Well what do you want to sing Tep?" She responded and sang as hard as she could, "Booty, Booty, Booty, Booty, rockin' Everywhere!"
A true wonderful, lovely, amazing mess! But I love them with all my heart.
Peace Out!!

Back again with great updates! The hommie, Mattt Potter does it again! This time he cut a video to my song, "Takin' Out Sukkas". He posted it on the View Askew board, and so far it's been getting good responses. Check it out and feel free to email me your feedback. Also rate and comment on it on my myspace page to make it one of the top videos viewed!
I have to thank all the people who helped me make the video. Stix for making the beat, Mo Davis and my cousin Morice Watome for filming the scenes, Heather for being my sexy video model, my brother Sabathil for holding the bottle of hypnotic, my little brother Kinsley for his "blotty-blotty blue," Belen, Poison, and Shadowcat for the pictures giving me props, Nekaybaw's mom for letting me hit it years ago so that we now have this beautiful angel who made her video debut & will take Hollywood by storm! And lastly, thank you Mattt Potter for putting all the footage together for a funny ass video! I also have to thank those who've always supported me with their kind words, thoughts, and prayers.
Speaking of View Askew stuff, I'm now an official writer for Quickstopentertainment.com, with my column, "Keneteph's Korner." The website was spawned by Kevin Smith as a means to promote all aspects of entertainment. My first article is on comic book writer, David Atchison. He co-writes the comic book, "The Occult Crimes Taskforce (OCT), with actress Rosario Dawson. Keep checking QuickStopentertainment.com for more of my features.
Fall is definately going to be fast! Enjoy the ride with me.
Prosperity to all,
Thaahum

Music Choice put my track "Spreewells" in rotation on their Rap channel. From October '06 to January '07. It was pretty tight to see my song played while all the radio facts about me showed up on the top of the screen. Heather Cruz was nice enough to record it when it played so I'll put it on the site for y'all to see as soon as I can. Please go to the Music Choice site and continue to request that "Spreewells" be played.
Spreewells also got on DJ G-Spot's "The Talent Finder 3" mixtape.
It's a tight mixtape featuring 7 other independant, unisgned hip hop artist. It was an honor to be featured amongst other good talent.
I also recently got asked to do a song for this independant film comming out called "Homo Erectus". It's a comedy that stars David Carridene, Tom Arnold, Ron Heremy, and Ali Larter from the TV show "Heros." Check out the trailer to the movie done to the song I did.
